September Japanese steel exports down 10.9 percent year on year

 Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF) released the latest data show that in September 2015, Japan's steel exports 3.33 million tons, down 10.9 percent year on year, down 2.8 percent. Where ordinary steel exports to 2.27 million tons, down 3.3 percent year on year drop of 6.6%. Export environment is deteriorated.

Exports by region, the Japan's exports to South Korea 593,000 tons, down 12.1 percent year on year, Thailand exports 456,000 tons, down 0.9%; exports to China 417,000 tons, down 18.2%; exports to China Taiwan 191,000 tons, down 27.6 percent.
September Japanese steel imports to 375,000 tons, down 7.8 percent year on year. Among them, the imports from South Korea 255,000 tons, down 4.2 percent; from China Taiwan imported 83,000 tons, increasing by 3.4%; imports from China 34,000 tons, down 40.1 percent.
